Random fact because I feel like it: Braeburn apples are my absolute favorite. I practically refuse to eat any other apple. They have the perfect crunch, the perfect amount of tartness, and are ridiculously juicy. I hate soft apples.
Honey crisps are my favorite. A soft apple is dead to me.
And the dealership I am probably going to get it from has a sales manager who looks exactly like a cross between Ron Jeremy and Gene Wilder. More on the Ron Jeremy side only because he wears gold necklaces with his chest hair hangin’ all out. And he wears loafers that click when he walks. I don’t even know if Ron Jeremy does that, but I imagine he would. Ewweee
GUESTBREAKER: You’ve Never Seen The Sandlot
We were on a date, you told some funny jokes, I was laughing. I said “you’re killing me Smalls.” The laughing stopped there. You didn’t understand that reference. You’ve never seen the Sandlot. What the hell? Did you enjoy having a childhood? Did you play baseball? Did you own PF Flyers?
Okay, we’ll watch it together sometime at my place. You came over to my house and we watched it. You didn’t laugh once. You thought it was immature. Please, that movie is hilarious. Squints putting the moves on the lifeguard was a classic. The movie featured JAMES EARL JONES. You don’t have a soul. Just take your humorless self right out my door. And move faster or I’ll send the Beast after you “FOR-EV-ER!”

oh good god thank you. Please don’t be lying…don’t you think I didn’t already think of that!

I love the look of suspenders. Love it. Too pansy to do it myself, though.
who knew Guv-na S. would be so….productive? Maybe that’s too much credit, but I guess coming from someone living in New York and with a state political body equivalent to a preschool population…I’m prob. just jealous, really.
WWOOF—Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms—is an international network that spans Europe and the world, offering intrepid travelers free room and board and providing thousands of farms with free labor. Yes, labor. WWOOFers have to earn their keep, whether by mending stone fences, tending…
I’ve read a loooot about this. Sounds absolutely freakin’ amazing. Damn my good, well paying, state job…not really…but you get my point. Right?
GreenAid Seed Bombs | thecommonstudio.com
“Made from a mixture of clay, compost, and seeds, ‘seedbombs’ are becoming an increasingly popular means combating the many forgotten grey spaces we encounter everyday-from sidewalk cracks to vacant lots and parking medians. They can be thrown anonymously into these derelict urban sites to temporarily reclaim and transform them into places worth looking at and caring for. The Greenaid dispensary simply makes these guerilla gardening efforts more accessible to all by appropriating the existing distribution system of the quarter operated candy machine. Using just the loose coins in your pocket, you can make a small but meaningful contribution to the beautification of your city!”
The only kind of bomb I support XD There are also other ways - my trick: try buying cheap grass+flower seed mixes, add powdered fertilizer, climb on your roof or a tall building and let go with the wind XD
Only available in a few cities in the US…

We were told to do the “Captain Morgan stance” for the picture, to go with the pirate ship in the background that you can’t see. Nick is not participating very well. Also, see those clouds? It was that dark and worse all day and somehow, somehow, I still managed to get a nice freakin’ sunburn. I have been peeling for a week now…son of a bitch ozone layer depletion. Ok enough, Jess.

Williams said that if people who oppose immigration “got their wish and all the unauthorized people went home tomorrow, we would have a crisis. We wouldn’t have anyone to pick the crops, milk the cows, or take care of the Christmas trees.”
“Farm workers do the work that most Americans are not willing to do.”
Blogged about this before. Am very interested to see the outcome. I wonder what produce would cost if farms were required to pay minimum wage.
